to meet
our customers' needs.
Consulting
Based on our experience handling more than 1,000 soil survey and cleanup cases every year, we employ methods that are optimized to meet customers' budgets and land-use needs. Our extensive experience providing these services even includes government organizations.
Put simply, soil contamination conditions and measures vary widely from case to case.
Soil surveys may be carried out as part of land transactions, as part of independent surveys of factories and similar for corporate social responsibility reports, in response to requirements under the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act and other laws and regulations when discontinuing the use of a factory, and for many other possible
reasons.
As an example, take the case of a legally stipulated land transaction: Soil survey operations may involve the government, the seller and buyer, financial institutions, intermediary corporations, and many other parties.
In this scenario, each participant has differing levels of experience with soil contamination, and their needs vary as well. Daiseki Eco. Solution takes consideration of such diverse needs in order to design a survey plan tailored to each unique situation.
In addition, accounting standards for asset retirement obligations and other areas related to contaminated soil underwent numerous changes upon enactment of the April 2010 revisions to the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act, and conforming to these changes requires considerable knowledge and experience.
Consulting services in this area require government-related procedures, experience serving customers in response to changes and singular needs, a wide-reaching network, and the capabilities required to make proper changes.
Here at Daiseki Eco. Solution, we have experience creating and implementing vast numbers of soil contamination measures around the nation prior to enactment of the Soil Contamination Countermeasures Act, and through this experience we have fostered large numbers of a seasoned sales and technical staff waiting to fulfill customer needs based
on reliable approaches and frameworks.
Soil Surveys
In all operations from document procurement and survey planning through to onsite gas, soil-layer and boring surveys, we utilize self-owned equipment and facilities as well as in-house staff equipped with specialized knowledge and experience in order to realize low-cost, speedy surveying operations.
Environmental Analyses
In measurement certification operations, Daiseki Eco. Solution utilizes laboratories with large numbers of analytical staff and state-of-the-art equipment, which make low-cost, high-speed analyses possible. We are capable of carrying out component analyses and other sophisticated analyses for groundwater, waste-product recycling projects and more.
New Measures
Conversion into Cement Base Material
Contaminated soil brought in to our recycling center, which has a 1.3-million-ton annual processing capacity, is put through various processes including classification, kneading and mixing to convert it into a base material for cement production. This material is sent to our cement plant, where Portland cement and other types of cement are made.
Cleanup
Aqueous cleaning is utilized to separate heavy metals and other substances from contaminated soil, and then the particulate content from contaminated soil and the purified soil are separated from one another.
Extraction via Chemical Desorption
Soil contaminated with volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, is extracted via chemical desorption, leaving clean soil behind. Soils which have had their VOCs removed in this manner can be reused as backfill—a method that is increasingly popular as a highly effective recycling method.
Extraction via Magnetic Screening
Heavy metals are separated from contaminated soil via iron-powder-based adsorption, and the heavy metals and iron powder is recovered using magnets. After that, these are separated into purified soil and contaminated soil in concentrated form.
Onsite Purification and Processing
By choosing from a wide range of available purification technologies and techniques based on soil conditions, we are able to propose and carry out optimized, onsite processing and purification of contaminated soil—and even groundwater.
Our main approaches to onsite purification and processing are as described below.
Daiseki Eco. Solution utilizes a wide range of processing approaches to meet varying customer needs.
Industrial Waste Disposal
Construction-project Sludge and Buried Waste Processing
Through our nationwide network of cement recycling facilities, we have established a framework capable of flexible responses to all types of waste products, through which we guarantee reliable and proper waste processing.
Resource Circulation and Recycling
Waste Plasterboard Recycling
Through our waste plasterboard recycling operations, we help to build a recycling-oriented society.
Biodiesel Fuel Production and Sales
By recycling waste cooking oils (used cooking oils) into biodiesel fuel, we are helping to create a recycling-oriented society and stop global warming.
PCB-related Operations
We carry out surveys and investigations related to PCB waste, store such waste, and carry out PCB waste transport and processing operations using transshipment facilities.
Solar Panel Disposal
We offer all-encompassing support for solar panel processing and disposal, from reuse and recycling through to end-of-life disposal.
Free Collection of Used Cooking Oils and Fats
We collect waste cooking oils, handling everything from small batches to large quantities.
Waste plastic and waste paper collection
We would like to introduce the initiatives of the Sugimoto Group, whose core business activities are the recycling of waste plastic and waste paper.
